This project wants to make our clients' travel plans much easier.
Our starting point was the following : the current trend is to do road trips with friends but a lot of people do not dare to make it a reality because they fear to jump into the unknown.
Hence the fact that we chose to help them organize their trip.
Our service is quite simple : we will provide travelers route options and information about parking places for mobile homes, by using a technology they are familiar with : a mobile app. Is that it ? Not at all ! Other opportunities will be offered...
Context
Road trips are especially loved in the US, in particular from youngsters that are looking for change, adventure and fun. But this is also a trend in France, and we can also do road trips there. Indeed, there are a lot of spots and landscapes to explore. Road trips are associated with freedom and happiness, that is why they attract so many people. Students are young people that also want to have fun during holidays, but they have a restricted budget, so they could be potentially interested by our offer, which is original as well as affordable. Young people also love to use things that facilitate their lives, such as an app that does all the previous work of planning their road trip for them.
The world is evolving quickly and students are used to work and live surrounded by technology, an app is the best and easiest way to plan and organise a successful road trip.
Target
Our project is dedicated to students who want to feel adventurous and independant during their holidays, enabling them to create a personalized itinerary with tips regarding the local events that may interest them or where to park. Our target group is students who love festivals and are looking for events that might interest them in the surrounding area but do not always know how to find them. This will also meet the need to find out where to park their mobile home without any hassle.
Our services and how we provide them
Mobile HolidAIs provide students services for them to enjoy the best roadtrip possible. Mobile HolidAIs is an app that students can download with Apple or Android, but is also website that they can consult online. Thanks to the information students register, and information we collect from their social media, Mobile HolidAIs is planning everything for them. As Mobile HolidAIS have partnerships with various cool events and fun places, customers can benefit from promotions or even free accesses to these events if they subscribe. It is interesting in particular for students who have a strict budget, this can attract them and incite them to use our application.
Mobile HolidAIs give students the following information :
- Personalized itineraries according to the information they give us, and their social media accounts. That will be possible thanks to AI. (more details next sextion)
- Places where to park, because they can be hard to find. A setting up of a partnership with park4night.com is in progress to do so.
- Advices for a successful road trip. Enabled by our marketing team which works closely with influent bloggers.
- Information about local events like concerts and festivals, exhibits, gyms, entertaining activities,... Development of local partnerships by our sales forces.
Our use of Big Data
Our personalized itineraries are created thanks to information given by our users on the app (what are their hobbies, do they like art ? or sport ?) as well as information collected with their consent by connecting with their social media accounts to Mobile HolidAIs.
How are we able to personalize it ?
By using electronic devices with IP addresses and applications such as Instagram or Facebook, each one of us creates an identity on the Web. Our behaviour on the Internet leaves traces that are linked to our digital identity.
In this way, algorithms in applications like Google or Facebook can associate our profile with things that may be of interest to us.
By collecting this data, we provide our users with the best roadtrip routes effortlessly.
The more information they feed their social network profiles with, the more accurate the suggestions made to them will be.

How do we concretely protect the data of our users ?
We collect our users' personal data in order to offer them the best possible roadtrip. Our service must obviously complies with the regulations.
We therefore use "privacy by design" which is based on several principles.
- Limitation: we reduce the data used to those relevant to the use of our application.
- Traceability: we track data to know who has access to it.
- Duration: we have determined the length of time the data will be kept and delete it automatically after 10 years.
- Anonymisation: All data is anonymised as soon as it is received.
- Authorization: we verify the access and control of those who have access to personal data.
